For full sail towards new goals in 2013 with The Sustainable Seas
The Sustainable Seas Environment Exhibition "Baltic - who cares ..." about environmental toxins, marine litter and chemicals in our everyday lives was exposed at Stockholm international boat show "Allt för Sjön" in March in an environmentally square with The Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management (SwAM) and Nature Conservation Society. Stockholm University offered lectures on chemicals and alternatives to toxic antifouling paints and in a panel discussion attended Environment Minister Lena Ek et al

May 18 “Sail a square-rigged ship” - beginners course in the art of sailing a ship with square-rigged sails. A full day of theory and practice.
18-24/6 St. Petersburg. White nights- Scarlet sails. A culture and youth festival
29/6-3/7 Almedalen. (political week) Environmental exhibition, seminars and mingle on board and on the quayside
6/7-6/8 Tall Ships´ Races Baltic. Regatta for large sailing-youth initiative. Aarhus and Helsinki-Riga-Szczecin. At the Helsinki-Riga running "cruise-incompany" in which students change crews between ships.(no competitive element) Three groups of students from Marine Grammar School, Fryshuset (a famous youth center) and Circus Cirkör will succeed one another during the competition.
